Q. How do I get over to the island?
A. The ferry leaves from Baltimore pier. To book your tickets, head over to their website www.capeclearferries.com
Q. Can I bring my car/camper van over to the island?
A. Sorry, no, we only have a passenger ferry over to the island.
Q. Where can I leave my car?
A. There is a big car park next to the pier. You can drive onto the pier to unload your luggage, then find a spot. Please ensure you give yourself plenty of time to find a space as you may have to wait for a space!
Q. How do I get to the campsite with my luggage?
A. We will meet you on the pier to collect your luggage and drop it back down on departure (subject to Ts&Cs). It is then just over a 5 minute walk to the campsite.
Q. What time is check in/out?
A. Check in is from 3pm-6pm (later check in can be arranged prior to arrival at an extra charge). Check out is at 11am.
Q. Are there toilets and showers?
A. Yes, there are seperate ladies and mens toilet and shower blocks.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Yes, dogs are welcome but please read our Ts&Cs for more details.
Q. Is there a shop, pub, restaurant on the island?
A. There is a small grocery shop, pub and restaurant on the island. We will send you information closer to the time of your arrival.
Q. Can I bring a BBQ?
A. You can bring your own BBQ or hire one from us.
Q. Can I do laundry on-site?
A. Sorry, we don’t have laundry facilities but there are public machines near the harbour.
